It’s no secret that birds fly south for the winter, but Baby according to the 2014 United Van Lines National Movers Study, humans are starting to follow their lead – and stay through spring, summer and fall. Migration trends show people are leaving the Northeast in record numbers, and Dr. Michael Stoll, Professor of Public Policy at UCLA, is not surprised.

Jan 6, 2015 - In an article in its housing section, CNBC reported that nearly two-thirds of moves involving New Jersey were outbound in 2014 and that last year marked the fourth time in five years New Jersey led the U.S. in outbound migration. The article also highlighted other results from United Van Lines’ 2014 annual national movers study.

Jan 2, 2015 - Northeast Residents Flee for Third Consecutive Year. Oregon holds on to its title as “Top Moving Destination” and continues to pull away from the pack, while the Northeast loses residents for the third consecutive year.
