Fuel surcharge

The dramatic rise in fuel prices has impacted everyone. Transportation-related industries have also been dramatically affected. Escalating fuel costs have necessitated that the Moving and Storage industry adopt a fuel surcharge on its shipments.

The "National US Average" is determined by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a statistical agency of the Department of Energy (DOE). The reported DOE prices and the applicable fuel adjustment (surcharge) affecting HGCB Tariffs is listed on The American Moving and Storage Association Web site.
