A-Mrazek Scores St. Louis Cardinals' Move

United Van Lines agent to relocate the MLB team to new stadium for 2006 season

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Cardinals will move into the new Busch Stadium next year and A-Mrazek Moving Systems, a local United Van Lines agent was chosen to handle the logistics for the relocation.

The project began in August when a crew of 30 packed more than 1,000 boxes and 3,000 pieces and loaded them onto 18 straight trucks to move the front office operations including human resources, accounting, sales and the baseball-operations department to the Deloitte building across the street from the stadium.

“Moving the Cardinals into their new stadium will not be an easy task — it takes planning, skill and experience,” said Dave Sabada, president of A-Mrazek. “We’re honored to be involved in this project, and we’re eager to show St. Louisans how we accomplish an important, historic move.

Future phases of the move will include relocating season ticket and stadium-operations offices into the new stadium and group-sales offices into the Deloitte building. The next phase of the move will focus on transporting all Cardinal Museum artifacts into storage for the next 15 months until the new stadium is complete. The entire move will take approximately one and a half years and will wrap up in October 2006 as the Cardinals first season in the new Busch Stadium comes to an end.
