ST. LOUIS - Jose Rodriguez-Suarez, a van operator for Suddath Relocation Systems, LaMirada, Calif., an agent of United Van Lines was recently honored as the 2004 AMSA Super Van Operator "Rookie of the Year" Achievement Award Winner.
The recognition acknowledges excellent performance in the areas of operational proficiency, customer service and safety.
Super Van Operator "Rookie of the Year" winners must have at least three years of service in the household goods industry, and no more than five years of experience as an operator of commercial motor vehicles.
Rodriguez-Suarez has been employed with Suddath Relocations Systems since May 2002. Within the last year, he drove nearly 70,000 miles and had no preventable accidents and no moving violations. Rodriguez-Suarez was recognized last year by United Van Lines as the company's Master Lease Van Operator of the Year.
United Van Lines, with headquarters in suburban St. Louis, is the nation's largest household goods mover and maintains a network of 1,000 affiliated agencies in 135 countries.
