Nine agent representatives of UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines and other transportation-related companies, have been elected to its board of directors. Their election was announced by Richard H. McClure, president and chief operating officer of UniGroup.
Robert Eckhardt, All American Moving Services, Aurora, Colo., was elected to his first two-year term on the board. Re-elected to two-year terms were Raymond (Chuck) Mattes, William B. Meyer, Inc., Bridgeport, Conn.; H. Daniel McCollister, McCollister’s Transportation Group, Inc., Burlington, N.J.; John J. Planes, Planes Moving & Storage, Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio; David Sabada, A-Mrazek Moving Systems, St. Louis, Mo.; Gerald P. Stadler, S & M Moving Systems, Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; Thomas Andresen, Jr., T.E. Andresen, Inc., Boston, Mass.; Steve Komorous, King Relocation Services, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Barry Vaughn, Suddath Relocation Systems, Jacksonville, Fla., The nine were elected by fellow shareholders during the company’s annual meeting, held recently in St. Louis.
During its organizational meeting, the board chose its officers, re-electing Gerald P. Stadler as chairman and chief executive officer; and H. Daniel McCollister as vice chairman; and elected Steve Herman, treasurer; and David Corrigan, secretary.
UniGroup, Inc. is a $2 billion transportation and relocation services company with headquarters in suburban St. Louis, Mo. In addition to household goods carrier United Van Lines, UniGroup owns other subsidiaries that provide goods and services to professional movers.
