| United Van Lines Recognizes Van Operators of the Year at Annual Convention |

| Stephen Bergman of A-Mrazek Moving Systems in St. Louis, Mo.; Mark Byerhof of Schroeder Moving Systems in Milwaukee, Wis.; Gary Malcolm of Horne Moving Systems in Raleigh, N.C.; and John Ritchey of Corrigan Moving Systems in Farmington Hills, Mich., were honored as United’s Van Operators of the Year. Announcement of the recognition, conferred as part of van line’s annual awards program, was made by United CEO Richard H. McClure. |

| The honorees were chosen from 8,400 eligible van operators. Bergman was recognized in United’s Special Products regional fleet; Malcolm was recognized in United’s Special Services continental fleet; Byerhof was recognized in United’s household goods regional fleet; and Ritchey was recognized in United’s household goods continental fleet. |

| In the past year, Bergman drove a total of 95,238 miles with no cargo claims, no preventable accidents, and no safety violations. In the past, he has been honored as a United van operator of the month, and he has also received the van operator of the year award from his agency, A-Mrazek. |

| In the past year, Byerhof drove a total of 72,770 miles with low cargo claims, no preventable accidents, no out-of-service infractions, and no moving violations. He achieved a 95 percent overall customer rating. Last year he was a runner-up driver of the year, and he has also been recognized as a van operator of the month. |

| In the past year, Malcolm drove a total of 80,287 miles with low cargo claims, no preventable accidents, and no safety violations. He has also been recognized as a past van operator of the month. |

| In the past year, Ritchey drove a total of 85,397 miles with low cargo claims, no preventable accidents, and no safety violations. He also achieved a 97.8 for his overall customer service rating, and has been recognized as a van operator of the month several times over the past five years. |

| United’s Van Operators of the Year received a cash award, an engraved plaque, a ring denoting the accomplishment, and a specially designed jacket. |
