Casey P. Ellis has been named vice president of sales for UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines and other transportation-related companies. The announcement was made by Richard H. McClure, president of UniGroup.

"Casey has an impressive background in consultative sales," said McClure. "His experience and knowledge will play an important role in driving increased sales for United Van Lines."

In his new capacity, Ellis will oversee household goods sales for two van lines, along with oversight of the contracts and rates and tariffs functions. Ellis brings more than 20 years of experience as a sales professional to UniGroup. Prior to joining the company, he held progressively responsible positions at Hussmann / Ingersoll-Rand Corporation. Most recently, he directed sales for Husmann / Ingersoll-Rand’s eastern region.

Ellis holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri – Rolla.
