Mark J. Derheimer has been named Vice President of Finance for UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines and other transportation-related companies. The announcement was made by Jim Powers, Chief Financial Officer of UniGroup.

In his new capacity, Derheimer will provide financial and operational support to the domestic operations business units of the company.

Derheimer joined the UniGroup companies in 2000 as the Vice President and Treasurer of Vanliner, UniGroup’s insurance company that specializes in insuring those in the moving industry. Derheimer has more than 30 years of progressive experience in finance at large multi-national corporate environments.

Derheimer holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s in business administration from Indiana University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
