A-Mrazek Moving Systems Donates Transportation of $16,000
Worth of Toys Given by Two High Schools
Donations from St. John Vianney High School and Ursuline Academy
will aid U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots

Two St. Louis high schools, St. John Vianney High School and Ursuline Academy recently challenged one another to see which school could raise the most money for U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots. A combined $16,000 was raised between the two schools, with St. John Vianney High School coming out on top as the challenge winner.

“I found it incredibly amazing that these high school students were able to raise that kind of money in just one week with nothing on the line except bragging rights,” said Dave Hall, activities director at St. John Vianney High School.

On Friday, Dec. 22, the schools put their competitive spirits behind and met at Toys ‘R’ Us in Sunset Hills, Mo., to purchase items with the money raised. A-Mrazek Moving Systems, a United Van Lines agent in St. Louis, offered to transport the donations to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots collection site at Wal-Mart in Kirkwood, Mo., free of charge.

“It’s so inspiring to see the overwhelming generosity of young people in our community,” said Mike Ploesser, vice president of A-Mrazek Moving Systems. “A-Mrazek is happy to contribute in some small way to ensure the donations arrive in the hands of those who are in need of some holiday cheer this season.”
