ST. LOUIS – St. Louis-based A-Mrazek Moving Systems worked with the Humane Society of Missouri to safely move 16 delicate fiberglass animal statues to Neiman Marcus at Plaza Frontenac. Hand-painted by local artists, the artistic masterpieces will remain on display at Neiman Marcus until Feb. 8. The following morning A-Mrazek will again carefully pack the statues and transport them to Old Warson Country Club for the Humane Society’s Art for Animals Gala.
“Just because a load isn’t heavy, doesn’t mean it’s easy to transport,” said Mike Dudenhoeffer, office of industrial sales for A-Mrazek and part of the three-man team that spent more than five hours preparing the statues to be moved. “In order to ensure the statues would arrive at the destination in one piece, we carefully crated seven of the animals and insta-packed the remaining statues. The Humane Society is an amazing organization, and we were extremely excited to work with them and do our part for real animals that need help.”
“The statues will be auctioned at our Art for Animals Gala, so it was extremely important that they be transported safely and without damage,” said Kathy Warnick, president of the Humane Society of Missouri. “We were very appreciative that A-Mrazek treated these pieces of art with extreme care and attention to detail.”
