Gary McConnell Named 2006 AMSA Super Van Operator

Gary McConnell, a van operator for Chipman Relocation, Fairfield, Calif., an agent of United Van Lines, was recently honored as the 2006 AMSA Super Van Operator Household Goods Award Winner.

The recognition acknowledges excellent performance in the areas of operational proficiency, customer service and safety. Super Van Operator Household Goods winners must be currently transporting household goods as his/her primary duty; have transported household goods as his/her primary duty during the prior year; and have transported household goods as his/her primary duty during the past five years.

McConnell has been employed with Chipman Relocation for the past nine years and has driven more than 1,470 million miles throughout his career. Within the last year, he drove more than 88,649 miles.
