| UniGroup, Inc., the parent company of United Van Lines and other transportation-related companies, has been named to the InformationWeek 500, a prestigious listing of the most innovative users of information technology in the United States. This is the eighth consecutive year that UniGroup has been honored on the list. |

| UniGroup was ranked No. 66 out of the 500 companies participating in this years' survey and is the highest-ranked household goods transportation company. This is UniGroup's highest ranking ever and, in addition, its entry was selected as one of the "20 Great Ideas" that are featured in the Sept. 15 issue of the magazine. |

| This recognition comes on the heels of UniGroup’s CIO 100 award presented by CIO magazine last month and represents another significant honor for the IT team in 2008. |

| The InformationWeek 500 tracks and provides insight into the technology practices of the nation's most innovative companies and spans 21 industries. For the past 19 years, InformationWeek has identified and honored the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual listing. The list is unique among corporate rankings because it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders. |
