The Fleet Safety Award is presented to those that demonstrate the best weighted combination of the lowest Department of Transportation (DOT) recordable accident rate per million miles of vehicle operation, and the lowest vehicle and driver out-of-service rates. McCollister’s was the winner in the one to five million miles category.
