KOISTINEN AND WRIGHT JOIN UNIGROUP WORLDWIDE UTS’
NEW AIR FREIGHT OFFICE

| CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UniGroup Worldwide UTS, a global mobility management company, has recently expanded its freight forwarding offices into the Charlotte market. UniGroup Worldwide UTS specializes in the coordination and handling of shipments of high-value products, trade show materials, general commodities and household goods for corporate clients and the relocating public. UniGroup Worldwide UTS also maintains freight forwarding offices located in St. Louis, Fort Wayne, Dallas, Atlanta and Boston. The Charlotte grand opening was Wednesday, March 25. Heading this office is Area Manager Erik Koistinen and International Supervisor Dianne Wright. The team immediately booked their first new business for UniGroup that same day. |

“We look forward to providing full-service freight forwarding transportation solutions to our agents and customers,” said Koistinen. “Both Dianne and I have experience in working with van line agents for both international and domestic freight forwarding opportunities and will use our knowledge in these areas in our new positions.”

In his position at UniGroup Worldwide UTS, Koistinen is responsible for the development of agent and corporate client business. Koistinen brings more than 17 years of sales, operations and management experience in international and domestic freight forwarding to the Charlotte office.

Koistinen holds an associate’s degree in international business and applied science from Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, N.C. Koistinen’s education and work experience have allowed him to focus on international markets in transportation and logistics, thereby proving to be an asset to the UniGroup team in the expansion of the international and domestic marketplace in Charlotte.

| Wright brings more than 21 years of experience in international and domestic operations to the Charlotte office. She is certified with the TSA and Hazmat. Wright’s experience includes rating, tracking and routing shipments. For the last 11 years, she has worked with international general cargo for air and ocean exports and imports throughout the globe. Wright has provided logistics expertise for several freight forwarding companies in Miami, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; and Charlotte, N.C. Wright’s capabilities focus on satisfying the customer with every logistic solution UniGroup Worldwide UTS offers. |
