VAN OPERATOR HONORED WITH LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
ST. LOUIS – United Van Lines, America’s No. 1 Movers, congratulates Richard Rosenbush, van operator, who was honored with the 2010 Super Van Operator Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA). Rosenbush drives for United agent Barrett Moving & Storage, Eden Prairie, Minn.
Rosenbush, 60, has been driving commercially for more than 40 years and has been an owner-operator for Barrett Moving & Storage for the past 16 years. During his more than four decades on the road, Rosenbush has traveled 3.5 million miles. He has won many driving awards from his employers and has repeatedly come to the aid of stranded motorists and accident victims.
The 2010 Super Van Operator Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes van operators who demonstrate excellent records in safety and customer service during their careers in the household goods moving and storage industry. Judging criteria include miles driven, accidents (preventable or non-preventable), lifetime driving record, financial responsibility, community involvement, customer service, driving awards and outside interests and activities.
In addition to industry recognition, Rosenbush will receive a special leather jacket, a gold watch and other prizes at AMSA’s 2011 Education Conference & Expo in Jacksonville, Fla. from March 6-9.
