We had a very good experience with our move. The man, Eric, who was in charge from start to finish was awesome!! We really liked and trusted him. The folks who loaded us were also 'regulars' with our local moving company. We understand that the moving company does not have such a level of control of the 'destination' off-loaders when the move is hundred of miles away and out of state. They were also good. however, not of the quality that we experienced at our beginning location.

They lost the pieces to put my bookcase back together. The pieces weren’t worth anything, so I couldn’t get anything for my trouble, and my bookcase was unusable.

The move as a whole went well. There was some frustration with people not showing up when they said they would, but ultimately the job got done!

This was my first move by myself so the friendly help by Jeff Williams and Tammy Green was greatly appreciated. Everything was done very professionally and all my questions were answered promptly. I was not present for the loading but my friends who were said things were done professionally. The crew who unloaded were also very friendly and fast as well as willing to place items where I wanted them placed. Tammy Green also called while they were unloading to make sure they had arrived and I was pleased with move.

Everyone from Williams Transfer and the 3rd party company that did work in Jonesboro were great. Andy Long, Tammy Green, Eric Jones, Tammy Brown were all great. However one of the United helpers from Pearland was very careless. He was a white guy. Not good. Also, one from the 3rd party in Pearland was bad. Did NO work; got a phone call and started cursing because he couldn't get himself out of the floor. The rest of the 3rd party in Pearland was good.

The movers were courteous and friendly.They worked hard and handled belongings with care. Having 2 households toload,they were careful upon loading as instructed per household.I was called and given time ofarrival of van. I was not in Texas when van arrived, but I was told that it was unable to get into our parking area at 31st Street address. My husband had to rent a Uhaul to go to the Andy Lane address, where our thingswere to be loaded in the U Haul. Upon my daughters arrival to her home, she found broken knob on daughter dresser. She has furniture that should have gone to my home. She stated that she had numerous boxes of minein her dining room that has made it difficult for her to get her things in order. There are things that are hers at our home as well.My husband stated that as an accident, an accent table fell over,causing the glass drawer to be broken.I will not be in Texas until late March or early April,so I can not comment on the contents of anything else.

We had good crews loading and moving. Packing took extra time as there were not enough people or packing materials on day 1. Unloading crews were hard working and completed the unload quickly with no damage. Very accommodating with locating pieces where we asked.

This was my third move with United. Each time I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of the office personnel, and the excellent job done by the packers and the movers. I will definitely use United again, and happily recommend your company!

The moving crew on both ends were excellent, took the time to move the furniture carefully without banging the walls or damaging the furniture in any way. Tammy kept me informed of the moving progress, excellent customer service.

Jeff Williams and his organization have been nothing short of spectacular with the moving of my household goods from Starkville, MS to Houston, TX. Tammy Green, in particular, went out of her way to ensure my move went smooth and uneventful. She called everyday and was always pleasant and easy to work with. Having been in the military for almost 30 years, this, by far, has been the best and least stressful move. Jeff and Tammy were very accommodating to my needs and I greatly appreciate them. Also, the moving crew, especially Marcus (last name unknown), was a pleasure to work with. Thank you for everything. I truly appreciate each and every one of their efforts.

We have moved 12 times and our packers, loaders and driver were some of the best we’ve worked with. I’d like to specifically recognize Stacy, Joe, Cindy, Mary and Rick (Salesman). There were no surprises and Rick was very thorough outlining your services and proposal. The packers were thorough and appear to have done a great job. We haven’t unpacked yet but the boxes are well labeled. Great communication from all parties, including Tammy at HQ. Stacy arrived on time and was very careful with our belongings throughout the load and unload.

Overall I must say this was fantastic. This was my 29th move as I spent 38 years in the Navy. Many moves with various van lines. So to say this last one has topped them all with excellent service from start to finish. Knowledge and enduring professionalism set the bench mark. Rick Harris started us off with a very thorough look and estimate, Tammy took it from there and kept me informed all the way. Roger and his team with Joe,came and packed none stop. Truck arrived and Stacy the ultimate truck loader and team went to work. Did I say Stacy is an artist loading? delivery was quick and on time with help from Joe #1 which again was awesome. Tammy kept checking to make sure all went well. This is the best team of professionals ever.

Great coordination from Terry and generally good response from the loaders/unloaders. For both pickup and delivery the crew showed early in the morning enabling them to get finished by early afernoon, just what we like.

The agent underestimated the weight of our move. Then they only sent one smaller truck. They commented about how they were losing money and couldn't send 3 trucks to Montana. They told us to pick what we had to have and we would have to come back and get the rest of the stuff ourselves. We said ok on the condition that that one full truck would immediately head to Montana. They said yes. Then I get a call that the truck will arrive sometime on August 8 which was over a 1 1/2 weeks after they packed it up.

Overall, the experience went well except for the delivery of my items. The driver, Joe, called to ask where I was located as he was waiting outside of the property to drop off my items. I didn't have ANY heads up that my items would arrive. My move was from Memphis, TN to Leipsic, OH ... roughly 640 miles apart. It was extremely disappointing and stressful on that Friday morning as I was told multiple times that I would have at least 12-24 hours of a heads up before the delivery truck would arrive. Since I was in Memphis, with the call notifying me that my items were on the way to Ohio, I had planned to drive up to Leipsic, and be there when they arrived. I contacted my rep, Tammy, who was a true joy to work with in this process. Tammy had no idea either. I don't believe this was Tammy or Joe's fault, but someone didn't communicate at all. For paying roughly $6,500, I thought I would have at least received some kind of heads up ... Not ideal, at all!

My desk just purchased in mar of 2016 got broken. I feel badly for the crew but it is not repairable. We purchased ins for this My broken wedding present is taking soace in garage and i am without a desk. I dont know how long i will wait for resolve. I had to email to ask if paperwork i sent was,received. I think i should have been notified. Who takes care of trading the old one? I wish i had more info and someonr kept in touch better.
