I only had one problem with an otherwise seamless move: I was told my stuff would arrive on the tenth, but it was delayed by five days. I had originally set all this up months in advance, so I was confused as to why on the arriving side, my move date seemed to be such a surprise to them. Otherwise, everything was extremely professionally done and the movers were extremely helpful.

From start to finish I was very pleased with the professionalism, thoroughness and courteous manner everyone involved displayed.

Every team member was exceptionally professional and respectful to us as well as our belongings. Customer service was attentive and prompt. Moving crews were skilled, polite and cautious. Very pleased that nothing was damaged or lost. We would recommend United to anyone pursuing a move.

Overall - it was excellent. Kudos to the rep Ryan Francis, and our move coordinator Dianna Stoltz. The movers in Portland were great. The movers in Burlington were good. The only problem was the very last item to be moved into our new apt - our sofa, They dinged up the walls in the hallway and the doorjam, and got some white pain on our brand new sofa. Most of that brush off, and we cleaned up the scruff marks on the wall. Just to be clear, one :gaff" does not lower our "excellent" rating.

Overall, the experience was satisfactory. From Ryan on,communication was professional and congenial. Shuffling of dates was very inconvenient, but given the season, understable. We sustained no significant damage. However placement of items upon delivery was spotty and set up was near nonexistent. Again, interpersonal engagement was pleasant and respectful.

Great moving experience. Concise communications between our truck driver at all times. Driver was flexible with his delivery date too which made it less stressful for us.

Driver was great and really cared well for our property.

I am not getting a prompt response on debris removal, which I paid for, and which I need because I moved to a condo and don’t have a garage or basement to store boxes.

The sales person was fabulous. He made the choice simple and every step after that confirmed we had made the right choice.

I was kept well informed regarding the scheduling and progress of the move. Some aspects of the special crating could use improvement. For example while I did not identify any damage at this time. Padding in the crates of bronze sculptures had fallen out of place leaving wood directly against the bronze. Fine Oil paintings were covered in saw dust at the destination.

The representative who quoted my move was friendly and informative. The truck driver was also friendly and kept up a great rate of communication about my belongings and delivery.

My move went excellently! Everything on time and in the condition it was in previously. The movers handled my belongings with care and were friendly and respectful during packing, loading and unloading. I have no complaints, I was fully satisfied.

The move went smoothly. There were a couple of problems that were taken care of generously and painlessly.

I would say overall it was a positive move with Suddath/United. Though there was damage to two chairs--one antique. The driver, Chris, filed a report for this one when he picked up the load in Portland. Also missing several pieces for shelving units. The truck arrived quickly & on time. Chris was great but his 2 helpers were two hours late. Moving coordinator Sierra Bingman was very efficient & responsive during the cross-country move.

Joe was professional, knowledgeable and made the experience fun! The crews he hired were also very professional.

Overall the total experience was great from the quote to unloading.

overall, was great. didn't see any damage to our old house or new because of the move, no damaged goods noted so far. the team was conscientious and polite. notable negatives were: 1) a couple of items were not fully assembled after disassembly by the move team 2) a bed was assembled, however, bolts were not tightened and 3) one of the movers chose to take a bowel movement in my bathroom, used too much toilet paper and plugged and overflowed my toilet. disgusting. that said, again, the quality of the move was very good.

Everything went smoothly, nothing went missing, and nothing got broken. The movers were also very careful of my house at both ends, no bumps or scrapes anywhere. They were also nice people and pleasant to have around.

Everybody I dealt with from the quote, to the load, move coordinator, unloaded were very accommodating, friendly and professional.

The attention to detail was surprising and welcome. They were all friendly and great to work with. They spent as much time as necessary, regardless of schedule time. The estimator, Ryan, was very thorough and honest.

Excellent company! The packers did a fantastic job and they delivered on time. The unloading process went smoothly as well. A headboard was scratched accidentally when putting the mattress on, but the company was quick to correct the problem. It was an easy process. Communication was great throughout the process and the estimator was really nice. The only thing is we came way under weight/amount so if our company hadn’t been paying for it, I would’ve been upset about paying way more than we should’ve.

They were very nice and professional. There was a snag in the move, but made it right.

Our experience was wonderful...from beginning to end. Ryan, the estimated was knowledgeable and nice. Tori and Madison were great, and Jason, our driver was fabulous!

There was some miscommunication and a local team came to pack us up but was met by the drive team that would take our stuff to our new home. Not a huge problem but it did cause some confusion. The driver was very accommodating of our schedule and was able to deliver on the day we needed

Had a great experience with your Portland Or. agent and the two men who packed and loaded in Portland. The experience with the unload was not without a period of considerable stress. The lead driver refused to assemble our Queen size bed and was supported by a truly incompetent boss over the phone. It was only after I contacted Scott in Portland that Inwas able to get the situation resolved. The driver however did not do the work instead Scott had to line up two independent contractors to complete the work some 4-5 hours after the unloaded departed. Not only did this delay us but cost United considerably more than it should have.

Brenda (scheduler) and Erin (move coordinator) were phenomenal and made the day of the move smooth despite some hiccups with our second stop.

We would like to give a special thank you to Jim, Ryan, Erin, Brenda and their team of Portland/Puyallup movers who did an amazing job of handling our moving/packing needs. Our move was rushed due to a surprisingly quick offer, sale and close on our Gresham home, so we did not have nearly as much time to prepare as we had hoped. Thankfully, Jim, Ryan, Erin and Brenda all worked together to accommodate our expedient needs in order to get us from Gresham OR to Graham WA within the time frame needed. I wanted the arrival window to be narrower. The range of over a week causes uncertainty and I did not even know if I should book a hotel or not.

Timeline was tight but the driver made special accommodations and all went well

Everyone representing United Van Lines, from initial estimate to final delivery was professional and honest.

All arrived safely thanks to our wonderful, accommodating driver. Would not have been such a positive experience without him.

We felt comfortable from the quote, through the booking of the mover, to the move out of Vancouver without us present, to the unloading & reassembling of our furniture. We've moved over 10 times. This was our best move.
