New Chairman of UniGroup Board of Directors Elected

ST. LOUIS (Oct.1, 2020) – The board of directors for UniGroup, a $1.6 billion transportation company, has elected Corrigan Moving System’s David Corrigan as its chairman. Corrigan is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Corrigan Moving Systems based out of Michigan where he has served in several positions in his 40 years with the company. Prior to being elected chairman of the board, Corrigan has served on the board in numerous capacities for over 20 years. His father, Paul Corrigan, was the first chairman for United Van Lines.

As the parent company of both United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, UniGroup boasts the nation’s leading corporate mover and the most well-known name in the moving industry.

As Corrigan Moving System’s top executive, Corrigan is responsible for overseeing the company’s 600 employee operation. Prior to his role as President and COO, Corrigan was a part of virtually every aspect of the business from clearing trucks, to general manager while running operations and dispatch, where he was in charge of dispatching crews and overseeing finances.
