United Van Lines Operations Achievement Award Winner: Christopher Reinhardt

Mar 13, 2018 – Christopher Reinhardt from Clancy Relocation & Logistics, Patterson, New York, was honored with the 2018 United Van Lines Operations Achievement Award. The award was presented at United’s national sales and operations conference held recently in St. Louis. Clancy Relocation & Logistics is an agent for United Van Lines. The recognition acknowledges excellent individual performance in the field of operations. Only one individual is chosen for the annual award from the employees at the more than 300 domestic United agencies. “Chris has been the driving force behind the Clancy quality team for the past seven years and has developed many innovative programs driving sustained quality and efficiency,” said Clancy President John Clancy. “We are proud he was recognized for his passion for excellence, his dedication to team improvement and the fact he has always led by example throughout his nearly 30-year career with us.”

Clancy Moving was started in 1921. In the early years, the company served household customers in Westchester, the Bronx and surrounding areas. The company changed hands and expanded services when a younger generation in their 20s arrived from Ireland. In 1968, Gene Clancy took over the reins of the moving company. He taught the young men working for him the right way to treat a customer. Fast forward to 1990. Another bunch of 20 something-year-olds took over the reins of the company.
