United Van Lines Collaborates with Yembo, the Global Leader in AI-Powered Virtual Surveys

ST. LOUIS (June 28, 2022) – United Van Lines, America’s largest mover of household goods, has collaborated with Yembo, the global leader in artificial intelligence (AI) for virtual home surveys providing its network of movers with an alternative survey approach for self, virtual and in-home surveys. United Van Lines’ movers can enhance their local business by utilizing Yembo’s cutting-edge technology to further streamline and simplify the customer experience.

While United Van Lines has been offering virtual surveys to its interstate customers for some time, Yembo’s AI-powered virtual survey technology now also saves local movers time and money by automating some of the estimation processes. Benefits for local movers also include video recording, increased inventory accuracy and an automated packing estimator as well as enhanced customer support through SMS alerts and customizable notifications.

“At United Van Lines we continue to implement new technologies geared toward improving the customer experience and the experience for our members of our cooperative network,” Executive Vice President, Product Development Jaime Winkler said. “Our collaboration with Yembo, the leader in AI-powered technology solutions, is another example of those efforts.”

Members who have adopted the technology for their local moving businesses are quickly seeing the benefits. United Van Lines member Mohawk Moving and Storage stated it has reduced survey time by more than 50%, which leads to the ability to serve more customers. Many customers also utilize Yembo’s self-survey option where they can record and submit videos when it is most convenient for them.

“Understanding how our local customers utilize the technology we offer and enhancing that experience is one of Mohawk’s main priorities,” Mohawk President Mike Larson said. “Not only are we seeing strong ROI through efficiency gains using Yembo, but customers state the new virtual survey technology is easy to use, convenient and provides a more transparent local move process.”

“This partnership is in perfect alignment with Yembo’s mission — to bring digital transformation to moving companies through best-in-class AI products,” Sid Mohan, Co-founder, and CEO of Yembo said. “United agents have achieved increased survey capacity, reduced costs, faster revenue growth and improved customer experience. This partnership will accelerate that success and drive digital transformation across the United Van Lines network.”
