National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 15-21.
All year, the professional drivers at United Van Lines deliver goods— and goodwill — to customers across America. Just like our customers, we depend upon their skill, expertise and can-do mindset to get the job done right. This week we’re celebrating how hard they work, how determined they are, and how much pride they take in a job well done.
If their travels take them near our headquarters in Fenton, Missouri, we hope they’ll stop by. We’ll be giving them a warm welcome with goodies bags, gifts and prizes generously donated by members of our cooperative agent network. They’ll also get to meet the people who work behind the scenes at our home office located in suburban St. Louis. If they’re somewhere on the on the road, many drivers will get a call from someone at headquarters just to say thanks.
While National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is only seven days out of the year, these unsung heroes of the road deserve shoutout every day for being the very best at what they do. Find out more about what’s happening this week on the United Van Lines Facebook page.

Nichalas and his family were moved by Lint Van Lines during the winter of his senior year in high school. In college, he started working there to make some extra cash during the summer and quickly learned he loved the freedom that came along with it. Nichalas lives in Iowa with his wife and three kids. He feels honored and humbled to receive this award.
Starting out in the warehouse at age 13, Stephen was with Planes for 35 years. He was named Van Operator of the Month several times before being named a Van Operator of the year in 2024, a testament to his consistent dedication to customer service. It is with great sadness we note that Steven passed away on April 12, 2024.
Thanks to all our sponsors for their generosity and help in making this a special week, too!
