The estimate evaluation and the moving coordinator were fantastic and made the process seem so well taken care of and seamless. The movers, driver, and unpacking crew were all efficient, polite, and wonderful as well. My only issue came recently when two pieces of furniture were not accounted for after unpacking, and I was told by someone that I signed that everything was delivered... so, no consideration would be given. This was frustrating, since you are asked to sign your approval as over 200 items are unloaded into your new home in the course of 3 hours. Other than my furniture being lost and no one offering to help me find it or reimburse me for it, we had a great experience with this company.

The overall experience was good, I was disappointed with the fact that I did not receive what I was promised, which. The lip delivery date of all my furniture was not there at the expected time. One lost item was reimbursed for it. But it really would have loved to have something that was that of value to me

this was the best experience, by far that I have had with movers. Joe at the warehouse in Randolph was extremely helpful and Dean actually delivered wardrobe and other boxes to my home as it was less than a mile away. The highlight was definitely Tim and his delivery team. He is a very caring and knowledgeable person. His patience is extraordinary and Dan was equally proficient. They treated me and all my stuff with great care. It doesn't get any better than that

Both teams were great. They worked their tails off and took extra care to all our items. Dennis - the driver - was extremely mild mannered and very good at what he does. He led both teams with precision and only one item was damaged during shipping process. valance on bedroom mirror had pulled away at staples on both sides of swing mirror but only on center mirror. other than that we were totally satisfied and would recommend your company to anyone. just a little mixup on delivery date from coordinator but did not create too much confusion.

The move was effortless. The movers came in, started packing and loaded the truck within 4 hours. The truck arrived at my destination within 2 days. The driver kept in contact with me from beginning to end.

Generally very good. Some confusion regarding delivery time/date, but it was easily corrected. Unloading into a storage area was tight. Perhaps a little more time spent packing the storage unit would have made better use of he space and not resulted in my having to rent an additional small unit

The moving process was completely seamless! The local moving crew in both nyc and Nashville were phenomenal!! Customer service was definitely above and beyond. The crew leader for the nyc crew was amazing ??

From the sales process to the loading and unloading, the entire team was professional and efficient. Even when there was an issue at unloading, a box fell through the rafters, and went through the kitchen ceiling, they took responsibility and handled the problem and claim quickly.

The move was good. The workers were polite and prifessional. My disappointment came with the trip to the final destination My father's wood roll up desk was PUSHED in....so now we can not roll it up or down...because of pressure put on that area of the desk..either at the warehouse or in transit front end or backend pressure was placed on the roll up area of the desk and it is now off the track. We are trying to figure out the solution. The movers and I did check off on everything but it did not occur for me to check the function of the roll up. Other wise everything was good. Any suggestions?

Greg Lefkowitz at Armstrong quoted and charged us at 3 crates. Inventory arrived on a 16 foot truck that was not close to full. The movers confirmed that our inventory filled 1 and a half crates, not even 2. After the quote, we wanted to bring it to 2 crates by removing substantially more items. Greg said that we would need to remove even more to fit into 2. Thus we decided to stay at 3 crates, and actually ADDED more items to our inventory. Even with those added items, we used only one and a half crates. We were charged for a crate that we neither wanted nor used, and were willing to leave more inventory behind to avoid using. Greg's response was simply that there is a formula and the contract was binding. The movers mentioned that our inventory weight of 3,277 lbs should easily fit in two crates. Either Greg is very bad at his estimates, or your policy is specifically designed to significantly overcharge customers. United is therefore misleading and lying to its customers.

We moved from NJ to AZ. The process with United Van lines was as easy as could be expected with such a big move. John our driver was very professional and his teams were efficient and experienced. Everything made it without any problems/damage and on time. Thank you to all!

Very professional and reliable service but packing was slow and due to that few things were rushed in the end.

The entire team was very helpful and great to work with. Ray Ann from sales helped to save us money by giving great advice. Robert, the driver, provided wonderful service while taking impeccable care for our belongings. There was an 800 lb grand puano involved going up a long flight of stairs. They did a phenomenal job with this challenge.

Everything went right on schedule just as promised and Tim and Clarence did an awesome job. Would definitely use United Van Lines again and I would request these two men again!

It went well. The team was helpful from the beginning. We were supplied with boxes and packing material. The day of the move, the crew was polite and efficient. A few bumps to the walls, but otherwise, things went well.

Overall the experience was excellent on both ends. Unfortunately the original driver had an accident which delayed delivery. It took 16 days to get from New Jersey to Denver. Being in my apartment for 9 days without furniture caused some anxiety.

My husband and I used United Van Lines for a cross-country move. They were professional, experienced, and helpful. Everything about the move went smoothly and all our belongings were delivered in the same condition as they were when picked up - nothing broken. Overall, we had a great experience!

I had two moves. Each was extremely well done.

Initial contact with the person that came to the house was great. Greg Lefkowitz was a really nice guy explained everything, we received an estimate. He advised us to alert the police because of our location. A problem arose because we were located on a highway. We had much back & forth with the police department, a patrolman out twice to talk to us & we had to hire traffic control to put up cones, detour etc.& also hire a policeman for a minimum of 4 hours. We made all the necessary arrangements for the day of the move. Instead of a 70 foot moving van a smaller truck arrived, parked on our property & put the our things in storage (athough we were told the van would be loaded & go directly to CA). The $500 had to be paid to the police & another $500 for the Traffic Control company, even though they were not necessary & were sent home, not counting all the hours I spent on the phone trying to coordinate everything.We paid $13,000 for just under 12,000lb. What was the actual weight?

Overall, the moving process with United was good. I was disappointed with the fact that I had to call the day prior to the move to inquire the time the movers would arrive on moving day. Also, I was disappointed that my 50’ television wasn’t unpack when my belongings arrived in Florida. However, the movers were professional and courteous. My overall experience was good, not excellent.

It was exceptional service that I received in my move with your company. Rayann was wonderful in her accommodations and coordination of my move. Prompt to respond with my queries, and she was very kind. Martino never let my questions go unanswered, and he too was prompt in response to my queries. My only disappointment was that my computer desk was broken somehow during the move. The movers were meticulous in moving my items from my apartment, and they were respectful, friendly and efficient. I thought the guys did a very professional job. They were on time and very helpful. Seemed like they loaded the truck in no time, and the same with unloading. I would highly recommend them.

The workers on both ends were very nice guys and professional. The only complaint I have is on the receiving end there were boxes piled on top of very fragile boxes and some got crushed. I have not had a chance yet to see how much damage, if any, was done. There were a couple of broken glasses so far. Other than that everything was done in an efficient and timely manner.

Except for the weather which you can't control everything went very smoothly. The packers & movers arrived when they said they would, packed everything very carefully-nothing was broken although there was a bit of damage to a bookshelf. The driver, Mike Dill, was fabulous!! He called ahead of time to speak with us, was prompt & at the delivery end even managed to get our armoire through a very difficult set of doors.

The movers who came and packed us up arrived an hour after the expected time frame -- however that was the only problem we encountered. The packers were kind and efficient and packed our belongings with care. On the delivery end, our belongings arrived on the day and time frame given to us and the delivery men were excellent and efficient.

When we first contacted you we were told that the delivery date for our move would be 5-15 to 5-16. We were going to be there on the 15th. We felt that was a fare date. Once everything was picked up from our house, you changed the date to the 21st. That meant we would have to live in a completely empty house for 5 days.....not cool. We contacted our moving coordinator Martino Pascale and explained the situation to him, and told him we couldn't stay in an empty house for that long. He told us that he try to move the date up to accommodate us. The best he was able to do was the 17th which had us living in an empty house for two full days. Luckily we had a new mattress delivered to us on the day we arrived so we had a place to sleep at night.

Arrived 5 minutes early. Team of 3 got to work immediately and handled all of my items with care. Delivery met my schedule and driver showed up on time at the new location. Received a small refund due to difference in estimated weight versus actual weight. Pleasant surprise.

Everyone we worked with was very easy to work with. Because we were the last person and a weather delay it took a bit long for the shipment to arrive. The delivery team was very easy to work especially given that we had three delivery stops.
