Our stuff was well packed and we suffered little damage (a bit on furniture but negligible so we did not file a claim.) The timing also worked out well and everything was done professionally.

From start to finish, the crews involved were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Overall very good. We appreciate the flexibility with getting various items packed and unpacked then located in the new house. It’s been a little hard to keep like things together - power and connector cables for a computer monitor, power and connector cables for a TV. A week and a half after the move and we still can’t find the TV power cord.

We liked all of the people who were involved with our move. We appreciated their intellect and understanding of our move and the needs we had. In particular, we like the driver, Marvin Tapper. Sadly, when all was said and done, the people that supported him-the packers and the people that moved our possessions into our new home, did not meet the driver's high standards.

Everything from the team packing, to the team loading and unloading, the wonderful communication from our driver Phil Column, to the excellent communication from a representative from the moving company through the process was excellent. They took care of us, our belongings, our homes, and made this move so much less stressful for our family.

The delivery men were outstanding. Quick efficient and professional. I would use them for all of your Government moves.

Overall it was fine. I thought the packers in Montana were a bit lazy/careless-I caught them really shoving items into boxes to make them fit, and had to pull a few things away to ask they be handled more gently. I them found them sliding packed heavy cardboard boxes down 2 flights of carpeted stairs-obviously not the preferred method and would cause damage to my carpet. As soon as they saw me see this, they stopped and picked up the boxes. This shouldn't happen at all. The team lead was good.

Overall, it was fine. But throughout my move I became confused about the moving business in general. I hired Hilldrup Movers (?) initially but United is the name of the company that billed me. Not a big deal. Just…interesting. Staff should know a little bit about the actual business (United? hilldrup?) and how it’s been around since 1939 (That’s what one of your boxes said.) When I mentioned this to a staff member he just shrugged and said, “I guess so.” Huh?

Sandy is respectful and easy to work with. The two men that unloaded our truck were great. The teams that packed the house and loaded were also good. We are missing a very important box and a few items were broken. Two guys who came to rebuild the our children's beds and crib. One did the crib (easy) quickly and left the other to work on the bunk bed for a few hours before coming back in to help him. They were here until maybe 9:30pm.

The team was efficient, polite and respectful of our household good. They communicated well with us and the move was smooth.

The move experience was relatively move. I thought the delivery team was especially good - respectful, kind, efficient, and willing to go assist in any way possible. All of my belongings arrived in one piece and not damaged and were delivered early in the promised delivery period. The movers worked very hard. We only rated slightly lower because the team didn't fully assemble a bed (they set the pieces together but didn't screw anything together), and it broke when we went to move it.

The United driver kept in contact with me before the delivery. He was very professional and showed up several minutes early. He was to have two local movers meet him, but only one showed and he was about 20 minutes late. They were very careful and timely unloading my items. The driver put several pieces of furniture together and checked to see if everything was placed as I would like it.

Nothing was lost, nothing was broken. It doesn't get much better than that! Also, the movers had to cope with a crisis at the last minute. I had reserved the service elevator and loading dock at my high-rise building a week and a half in advance. The afternoon before delivery, I got a call from someone claiming that they had promised some of my time to someone else. So they cancelled the last 90 min. that I thought I had. The movers only had four hours to move everything in, but they managed to do it!

Our move from Woodbridge, VA to Cranberry Township, PA during the period January 9 (packing), January 10 (shipping) and January 11, 2023, delivery, was good overall. Our move went exactly as planned. United kept us informed of what to expect and were flexible as our move approached. Their staff arrived at our home and took precautions to protect the home (both outbound and inbound), they were professional, kind and courteous. They were thorough and protected our belongings to the extent that everything arrived at our new home in the same condition as it left our old home.

The movers were excellent! However, I ended up being switched around to multiple different reps prior to my move and struggled with getting responses. The week leading up to my move, I never received a confirmation or time frame to expect the movers. I would rate the movers as a 10/10 and the process leading up to my move as a 6/10. James Anderson was very very helpful throughout this whole process which is why I still give it a 6/10.

The packing was good, as far as the packing itself, but many boxes were oddly marked and were difficult to understand contents. We found things totally unrelated to what the vast majority of the contents of the box was and was very frustrating. Some boxes were marked “4.5”, made no sense. The unload was a bit difficult, because they were unable to get the truck close to the door, but they did it.
