Merit Moving Systems’ Wesley Gogol Named United Van Operator of the Year
ST. LOUIS (April 2, 2019) – Wesley Gogol from Merit Moving Systems, Inc., Los Angeles, California, was awarded United Van Lines’ Household Goods Van Operator of the Year Award for the west region. The award recognizes Gogol’s outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and safety. United Van Lines Chairman Barry Vaughn and President and CEO Marc Rogers presented the award to Gogol at the company’s recent conference in St. Louis.

In his 35 years in the industry, Gogol has driven approximately three million miles. Gogol said, “I believe the reasons for my success include experience, patience and having the right attitude.” Gogol resides in San Antonio, Texas.
There are more than 4,300 drivers in the United Van Lines system, and Gogol was one of three winners this year. The van operator of the year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
