National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is September 14 – 20.
United Van Lines drivers deliver more than just belongings—they deliver care, dedication, and peace of mind to families all across America. Just as our customers count on them, we too rely on our drivers’ expertise, commitment, and can-do spirit to get the job done. This week, we’re proud to celebrate their hard work, determination and the pride they take in every move.
If their routes bring them near our headquarters in Fenton, Missouri, we’ll have goody bags, gifts, and prizes—generously donated by our cooperative agent network—along with the chance to meet the dedicated team members who support them from our suburban St. Louis home office.
Want to join in the celebration? If you’re a United Van Lines customer, share your thanks on our Facebook page using the hashtag #ThankAUnitedVanOperator.

Approaching every move as if he were handling his own family’s, Preston brings professionalism mixed with genuine care and attention to his job every day. His advice for new drivers: Respect and value everyone you work with —from crews to agencies — because teamwork makes the long road feel shorter.
With 50 years on the road, Charles is a true veteran of the industry. Starting his career at 21, he’s seen decades of change yet never lost his appreciation for the teams who helped him succeed. Our own living legend, Charles is a shining example of dedication and resilience behind the wheel.
Thanks to all our sponsors for their generosity and help in making this a special week, too!
