Recognized for Outstanding Performance in Service and Safety
Nov 10, 2015 – David Cambell from Safeway Moving System, Inc., Indianapolis, Indiana, was awarded United Van Lines’ Logistics Van Operator of the Year award. This award recognizes Cambell’s outstanding performance in the areas of customer service and safety. United Van Lines Chairman Dan McCollister and CEO Jim Powers presented the award to Cambell at the company’s recent convention in Scottsdale, Arizona.
During the 12-month qualifying period, Cambell drove nearly 104,000 miles and maintained a perfect safety rating. In the 25 years he has been with Safeway, he has won the Van Operator of the Year award a record three times. He enjoys being a van operator because he gets to see different parts of the country and encourages new van operators to not always be in too much of a hurry to get the job done. Cambell resides in Norman, Oklahoma.
