Nichalas Consier of Lint Van Lines Named Van Operator of the Year
DES MOINES – (March 11, 2024) – Nichalas Consier of Lint Van Lines out of Des Moines, Iowa, was awarded this year’s United Van Lines Van Operator of the Year for the Household Goods West category. The award recognizes Consier’s excellent performance in the areas of customer service and safety. The Company honored Consier at their recent award ceremony.
What started as a college summer job at Lint Van Lines, later transitioned into a 17-year long career for Consier. Over the years, Consier has found much success by prioritizing professionalism, safety and customer service. Throughout his tenure he has driven more than one million miles.
When asked about setting first impressions on the job, Consier said “Showing up to the customers residence with clean equipment and van, being leader and in uniform makes the whole move smooth.”

During his time off, he travels and spends time with his wife and three kids.
There are more than 3,900 driving professionals in the United Van Lines network, and Consier was one of the three winners this year. The Van Operator of the Year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
