Preston Thomas of Corrigan Moving Systems Named United Van Lines Van Operator of the Year

Farmington, Michigan (March 14, 2025) — Preston Thomas of Corrigan Moving Systems out of Farmington Hills, Michigan, was named this year’s United Van Lines Van Operator of the Year in the Household Goods East category. The award honors Thomas’s exceptional performance in customer service and safety. He was recognized at the Company’s recent award ceremony in St. Louis. 

For the past 22 years, Thomas has dedicated himself to providing exceptional customer service while consistently incorporating the latest technologies to ensure success. Throughout his career, he has made a lasting impact on customers by living by one simple rule: “I always treat others the way you want to be treated.”

There are more than 3,900 driving professionals in the United Van Lines network, and Thomas was one of the three winners this year. The Van Operator of the Year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
