Sherrell Byrd III of A-Mrazek Moving Systems Named Van Operator of the Year
ST. LOUIS – (March 14, 2023) – Sherrell Byrd III of A-Mrazek Moving Systems out of St. Louis, Missouri, was awarded United Van Lines Van Operator of the Year for the Household Goods West region. The award recognizes Byrd’s excellent performance in the areas of customer service and safety. United Van Line’s President and CEO Jason Mills alongside Chairman of the Board Charles W. McDaniel presented the award at the Company’s recent Learning Conference held in St. Louis.
Byrd’s knack for learning jumpstarted his career in the trucking industry. During his college tenure he studied to become a teacher, but what was supposed to be a summer job turned into a lifelong career. Byrd has been delivering exceptional service for the past 30 years.
“My ability to problem solve for customers is the most rewarding part of the job,” Byrd said.

While out on the road, he enjoys the company of his wife Jacqueline who joins him on many trips.

The Van Operator of the Year began in the late 1970s to recognize the men and women who sacrifice so much for a life on the road and who help other families through one of the most stressful times in their lives.
