United Van Lines Introduces New Snapmoves Services
United’s new Snapmoves program provides an option for those corporate and residential customers who are moving to or from smaller homes and apartments.
ST. LOUIS (February 7, 2019) – America’s #1 Mover, United Van Lines, launched its new Snapmoves program this January, providing an option for those corporate and residential customers who are moving to or from smaller homes and apartments.
According to the National Apartment Association (NAA), demand for apartments is at an all-time high to meet the needs of young adults ages 18-34 and retirees who like the convenience of apartment living. In addition, those age 18-34 continue to move to new cities before choosing a place to call home. Over the last couple of years, more than 40% of United Van Lines booked moves are for households moving less than 5,000 pounds. The new Snapmoves by United Van Lines offers an alternative solution for those who are moving less than 5,000 pounds.
“Over the last 10 decades, and even within the last 10 years, our customers moving preferences have changed,” said United Van Lines Executive Vice President of Operations Scott Kluesner. “While the need is still there for traditional moving services, the Snapmoves program offers a better fit for many of our current and potential customer’s moving needs.”
