UniGroup Celebrates 6,000 Van Operators

Celebrations Part of Van Operator Appreciation Week Recognized May 11-15

ST. LOUIS (May 7, 2015) – UniGroup and agents within its network will host celebrations across the country to recognize the dedication of its more than 6,000 van operators during Van Operator Appreciation Week May 11-15. UniGroup is the parent company of United Van Lines and other transportation and logistics subsidiaries delivering full-service to do-it yourself moving as well as supply chain solutions across the United States and around the world.

“We take this week as an opportunity to remind van operators that they are a valuable asset to not only the company, but the people they move. They are on the front lines helping families navigate one of the most stressful times anyone can incur,” said UniGroup President Jim Powers. “We thank them for their commitment and dedication in providing excellent service to their customers.”

Van operators passing through UniGroup’s Home Office in suburban St. Louis can participate in special activities, receive giveaways items, be treated to breakfast or lunch and much more. In addition to the headquarters’ activities, United Van Lines agents across the country are hosting events of their own for the van operators in their agencies.
