United Van Lines Receives Fleet Safety Award From AMSA

Jan 5, 2014 – ST. LOUIS, MO – The American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) recently announced United Van Lines received the 2013 Fleet Safety Award in the over 50 million miles category. This is the third consecutive year United Van Lines received the award, which recognizes carriers for their overall safety performance throughout the year.

“Our top priority is to keep both the driving public and those affiliated with our organization safe,” said United Van Lines CEO Rich McClure. “We are honored that AMSA recognized our ongoing safety efforts and performance with the Fleet Safety Award, and we will continue our efforts to improve in the area of safety.”

United will be presented with the award at AMSA’s 95th Annual Education Conference & Expo, which will be held Feb. 9-12, 2014 in San Diego.
